"Old Person" Neat

Why is it, homes that are owned by older people are so easy to spot? Could it be the immaculate lawns, the type of old person trees and plants, the Camry in the driveway or the white tire swan in the front yard?

Either way, this makes them easy targets for the "Real Estate" people walking the streets look for listings. Thankfully that's not my style. (I prefer to stalk them at Coffee Clubs on pensioner discount day. :) )

The moment you walk in the gate, this property will remind you of your grandparents house. Everything has its place and everything is so neat. Upstairs the layout has been totally changed from it's traditional Queenslander days, to suit the family's needs. Under all this 50's & 60's renos is a late 1800s stunner waiting to reappear.
There are 3 bedrooms, each interlinking to each other, which makes its very communal. But I see the person buying this house will want to change the layout to suit their very own family. The floor space allows this.
There is groovy 70's carpet throughout and a funky 70's front door. Very reminiscent of those swingers days I've heard much about.
The kitchen still has many 50's features left like the old sink and the bathroom is a good size for keeping yourself clean.
Downstairs is legal height if you lived in a remote pigmy tribe in Africa, but here in Queensland unfortunately it isn't. Underneath reminds me of my Grandmothers house in Nanango where we would bore the adults with our Christmas concerts that made no sense but gave us an excuse to dress up as Mary and Joseph and wrap the dog up as baby Jesus. Good times.

Underneath is a 2 car garage, workshop and a laundry with heaps of storage space. In the laundry is a famous Ipswich Jem hot water system which will out last the house. Also downstairs, my favourite bit, is the hand prints made in chalk from the kids dating back to the 1950s. This would be great for your kids to add their hand prints to the wall and keep the tradition alive.

Outback is a great size shed perfect for the Mancave or She-Shed and a paved BBQ area for those family get togethers at Christmas time when the kids will bore you with their Christmas concert too.

Like all my properties I sell in Sadliers Crossing, this WILL be popular so don't dilly dally and came and see it soon.
